The Electronic Music Appreciation Society (EMAS) of Curtin University formed in early 2014, centred on the appreciation and passion of all electronic and dance music genres. Formed from a previous music enthusiast club that held similar values to what the club does today, EMAS Curtin was initially created as a branch of EMAS UWA, but quickly became an independent powerhouse on the Bentley Campus, running uni and club events, DJ lessons, production lessons and industry networking nights. We hope to bring people together to share these interests and create a community that fosters all aspects of electronic music.

The Society also aims to:

  • Foster and promote objectives of the society through its activities;
  • Assist new students with orientation to the university
  • Encourage and promote cooperation between the Society and other Student societies
  • Become and remain registered with the guild
  • Do all things that are necessary and proper for the benefit and advancement of the society and the Guild
  • Create a safe and inviting community for all
